Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the core treatment method we utilize for patients who are experiencing anything from urgent pain or illness to continued preventative and sustaining healthcare. We also offer facial acupuncture for fulfilling naturally younger healthier-looking skin that's pain-free and long-lasting.

 

Cupping

Cupping therapy is a fantastic exterior bodywork technique that uses suction cups on the surface of the skin to enhance blood circulation which aids in pain management and eventual elimination as well as lymphatic drainage that assists in the removal of toxins and excess fluids from the body. Perfect for athletes or past unhealed injuries that are preventing your full potential.

 

Gua sha

Gua sha is good for musculoskeletal problems, especially major ones like tightness in the shoulders and back. It can also help alleviate tension headaches, migraines, neck pain, or swelling in your body. It's also an effective tool used in cosmetic treatments and aiding in lymphatic draining.

*recommend avoiding exposure to cold/wet/windy weather conditions, hot showers, baths, saunas, hot tubs, and aggressive exercise for 4-6 hours after cupping and gua sha treatment.

 

Herbal Medicine

Herbal Medicine is both an art and a science. At Golden Roots, we take seriously the lineage we were both trained in as well as respecting and being inspired by other cultural uses for plant medicine around the world. Our method of administering herbal medicine to our patients varies case by case but we have three herbal types that we employ. We utilize western herbal remedies in the form of a tea infusion, and two eastern medicine-based preparations in the form of an extracted decoction and a granular (powder).

 

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the guided use of essential oils to support physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. While we do offer various products for physical healthcare, our primary focus is on utilizing and creating essential oil blends for mental, emotional, and spiritual development and change.
