Healing Modalities

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a healthcare system based on ancient principles which go back nearly 2,000 years. It looks at pain and illness as signs that the body is out of balance. The overall aim of the acupuncture treatment is to restore the body's internal equilibrium. What makes this system so unique is that the physical, emotional and mental aspects of the human body are seen as interdependent, and the overall focus of the treatment is on the individual, not the illness.

We believe that the underlying principle of treatment is that illness and pain manifest when the body's qi, or vital energy, cannot flow freely. By inserting sterilized and extremely fine needles into specific locations on the body where a therapeutic effect can take place we can restore the balance of qi and trigger the body's natural healing response.

Acupuncture can safely treat a wide range of common health problems.

Herbal Medicine

We believe herbal medicine is one of the most important things you can take for maintaining optimal health and alleviating illness. Herbal medicine can be used in conjunction with acupuncture or alone, depending on the situation and or goals. Because herbs are taken internally, in the form of a decoction or herbal tea, they have a strong and often immediate effect on the human body and are incredibly powerful.

Similar to acupuncture in the way of restoring the balance of qi, yin, and yang, herbal medicine uses plant material that helps the body to naturally heal itself and create a barrier that is able to ward off illness and disease on its own.

Our custom-made herbal decoctions and herbal teas are made in our clinic assuring complete control over preparation, cleaning, length of boil and thus, overall quality. We only use the best herb material we can find from trusted wholesalers and purchase organic when available. Another unique key characteristic of our herbal medicine lies in the water we use to make the decoctions. All of our medicine is made using health-promoting magnetized water that activates and ionizes the water, turning it into a self-perpetuating life-enhancing medicine all it's own. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3572224/

Cupping

Cupping is a Chinese therapy that’s been around for thousands of years. What we use cupping for is to move what we call stagnant or inactive blood. Sometimes the overworked areas of our body build up scar tissue and blood tends to consolidate in or around said area. Cupping helps by raising the blood to the surface and get it moving again by urging circulation.

Facial Acupuncture

In the traditional eastern Medicine perspective, the appearance of the face is a direct external representation of the overall health within a person’s internal organs, so as these organs are harmoniously enhanced the face shows improvements accordingly.  This is why facial acupuncture goes far beyond surface level aesthetic repair.

Facial acupuncture treatment uses hair thin needles to target underlying health issues that may be contributing to a facial appearance in need of assistance. Additionally, the needles are placed into troubled areas on the face and neck, such as wrinkles or acne scarring, to promote alimentative blood circulation, stimulate muscle activity and regeneration, and encourage collagen growth, which all contribute to a more youthful and healthy-looking appearance.
